Gabi is still in the CCU of St. Anthony's Hospital. She can have visitors in small groups.
Her cousin from DC arrived Wednesday afternoon and her mother and sister arrived from Costa Rica Wednesday night. She has plenty of friends by her side right now which is great!
As far as Gabi's progress: She is still a little groggy but she's speaking pretty well (in English and Spanish). She is still a bit weak, especially on her left side. She is able to eat and drink and sit up with some assistance. She is awake and making jokes, though, just what we would expect from Gabi!
The doctors haven't finished with testing yet - so they haven't yet determined the cause of her stroke. The good news is, her heart is very healthy and her blood pressure is fine. They've also ruled out diabetes.
